I believe in therapy that is compassionate, emotionally focused, and collaborative. My passion as a mental health practitioner is teaching people how to listen to, learn about, and trust themselves, particularly in the context of trauma, anxiety, OCD, and chronic pain and illness. I am your guide through the learning and healing process, and my hope is you will come away feeling emotionally healthy, with a reduction in symptoms, and engaged in a joyful and fulfilling life.
I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as part of my approach to PTSD/CPTSD, OCD, anxiety, and chronic pain and illness. I also use a body-based approach and regularly bring in somatic work—paying attention to how stress, trauma, and emotions show up in the body. Combined with IFS, this helps clients notice patterns, release tension, and some clients report a reduction in frequency and intensity of physical symptoms. IFS is an evidence-based model of psychotherapy that creates a non-pathological therapeutic environment, allowing you to draw upon your unique insight and knowledge. This model not only facilitates the healing process but also offers you the opportunity to access your true self and lead from that place. All parts of you are welcome in this work.
I will provide a calm, caring, and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts and feelings, especially in the context of trauma, anxiety, OCD, and chronic pain and illness. It’s a place to explore the hard stuff at a pace and depth that feels safe for every part of you. Sometimes, you might just want to verbally dump everything and leave feeling lighter. We can do that too. I can meet you where you are in your work. No pressure to hurry up or do things my way. IFS allows us to move at the pace that is best for you, not me.
